This agreement constitutes a contract between the Guest(s) and My Mountain Cabin Rentals, LLC (MMCR). 

My Mountain Cabin Rentals serves as the agent and representative of all owners of rental cabins in our rental program, and is acting at all times, in and for the best interests of the owners.
A: MY MOUNTAIN CABIN RENTALS- reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.  All rental cabins are leased without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Responsible Guest must be 21 years or older. By booking this reservation, I attest I am over the age of 21 years, I have read and fully agree to all the policies and to hold harmless from any responsibility or liability, My Mountain Cabin Rentals, cabin owners and their representatives resulting from any loss, damage or personal injury incurred by any Guest on the rental cabin premise. 

OCCUPANCY – Guest(s) understand that My Mountain Cabin Rentals will only accept reservations from responsible adults above 21 years of age. Guest who initiates rental will remain responsible for all guests(s) or Licensee of Guest(s) during occupancy of subject property. OCCUPANCY is limited to the number of guests the cabin will sleep, including children. This information is listed in the cabin’s details. For questions or concerns regarding this policy, please call My Mountain Cabin Rentals at 800.844.4939.

VEHICLE INFORMATION & DRIVER’S LICENSE- Please be prepared to list information for the vehicle that will be parked at the cabin you have reserved and to provide us with a picture of the driver’s license of the person who has reserved the cabin. This information will be requested via text 2 days prior to your arrival . The text number requesting the information will be 706-917-1434.

RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS – At least 25% of the total rental fee is due at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation. When booking on-line or via telephone, submitting the reservation and providing your credit card number constitutes as your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, however, no reservation is confirmed until the required RENTAL AGREEMENT has been signed/initialed and submitted. My Mountain Cabin Rentals accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. Balance of rental fee is due 14 days prior to arrival with MasterCard, Discover or Visa. In some cases, we will accept payment via Venmo. Please call 800-844-4939 for approval and instructions. On the balance due date, the card on file will be charged for the balance. If card is declined, we will attempt to contact you. If the balance isn’t paid within 24 hours of the time the card was declined, the reservation will be cancelled. Please reference reservation number, dates and cabin name when sending check or money order. You must notify us in advance if you plan to pay your balance with any form of payment other than the card on file. If you reserve a cabin and your arrival date is 14 days or closer from the date you make your reservation, the full amount of the reservation will be due.
CONFIRMATION – Confirmation of the reservation will be automatically emailed to Guest(s) immediately upon booking your reservation on-line.  Please read the confirmation for accuracy of dates, mailing address, number of adults and/or children and accommodations.  Report any errors to My Mountain Cabin Rentals as soon as possible.  Pay close attention to the number of persons on the confirmation.  Occupancy is limited to REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY.  Absolutely no overnight visitors are allowed without prior arrangements made in advance in writing to My Mountain Cabin Rentals.

SCHEDULE OF CORRESPONDENCE – After confirming a reservation with MMCR, either online or by an agent, you will receive the following important emails & texts:
Booking Confirmation-(Email automatically sent immediately upon booking) This document will have a breakdown of rates, fees, etc., along with cabin name, arrival date, departure date, number of guests and other important information. Please review carefully and notify MMCR immediately of any mistakes that need to be corrected. MMCR’s Terms and Conditions are included in this document and should be reviewed by the guest.
Rental Agreement-(Email automatically sent immediately upon booking) This document MUST be reviewed, signed/initialed and submitted before the reservation is completely confirmed.
Payment Reminder-(Text, 14 days prior to arrival) This notification will be sent via our texting program on the day your payment is due. The primary cell phone number on the reservation will receive this text. It will come from the following text only number: 706-917-1434.
Pre-Arrival Notification-(Text, 2 days prior to arrival) This notification will advise you of the upcoming personal guide link and it will also request a picture of the driver’s license and license plate of the primary guest.
Personal Guide-(Text, 1 day prior to arrival) A link will be sent via our texting program to the primary cell phone number on the reservation. Click on this link to see check in information, address, code to gain entry to cabin, etc. Guests can reply to the texts anytime to correspond with MMCR.

CREDIT CARD – I, the Guest, attest I am over the age of 21 years old & I am providing my credit card number as a guarantee.  I agree to pay all rent, accept all terms of this reservation agreement, and accept all liability for any damage, including pet damage if applicable, beyond normal wear and tear during the term of my lease with My Mountain Cabin Rentals, LLC.  If I fail to do so, I understand any fines or damage will be charged to my credit card and all credit card sales are final.  Guests who have multiple people applying payments via their credit/debit cards must provide written permission from each card holder via email along with a copy of the card holders photo ID. If you are paying with a prepaid credit card, you must also place a $250 refundable deposit.

CANCELLATION – ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING – E-Mail info@1MyMountain.com (you must receive an acknowledgement from us receiving your email) or Certified Mail. A cancellation fee is assessed for any cancellations or cabin/date changes. Cancellations: More than 30 days from arrival date, guest will be refunded the down payment less $100 cancellation fee. 15 to 30 days from arrival date; after $150 cancellation fee, the remainder of down payment will be held for up to 1 year to be used for a ONE TIME reschedule. 14 days or less from arrival date, NO REFUND ON ANY MONEY PAID AND NO MONEY WILL BE HELD FOR FUTURE USE. 
DENYING PAYMENT, ADDITIONAL FINES OR FEES – Should MMCR have to obtain legal advice or counsel for any matter arising from any payment discrepancy involving a Guest(s) or payment vendor such as a credit card company, MMCR’s legal counsel Blue Ridge Law, PA (931 E. Main Street, Suite A, Blue Ridge, GA 30513 (706)632-1900) will seek rightful collection or payment for MMCR on behalf of Owner.  If disputes are transferred from MMCR’s management to a collection agency, responsible Guest(s) of record will be liable for all incurred charges proved to be their responsibility in a court of law.
DISPUTES – This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia and shall be treated as though it were executed in Fannin County, Georgia.  Any action whatsoever in relation to this Agreement shall be instituted and prosecuted only in the Fannin County Superior Court, Georgia. Guest(s) specifically consents to such jurisdiction & to extraterritorial service of process. 

HOLD HARMLESS & INDEMNIFICATION – Guest(s) agree to hold harmless & indemnify the Owner & MMCR for any liabilities, damage, theft, expense, or cost arising from or related to any litigation or claim which may arise out of or in connection with Guest(s) occupancy & use of the rental property. This is including but not limited to any liability or claim for personal injury or theft or damage of personal property that is made, incurred, or sustained by Guest(s).  The terms MMCR” & “Owner” are used in this agreement shall include their successors, assigns, heirs, employees, agents, and representatives where the context requires or permits.  The terms “Guest(s)” and Licensee of Guest(s), successors, assigns, heirs, guests, invitees, representatives and other persons who happen to be on the rental property during Guest(s) occupancy (without regard to whether such persons have authority under this agreement to be at the rental property), where the context permits or requires.

REFUNDS – or rate adjustments are not made for any inconvenience due to construction noise, road repairs, mechanical failures (including but not limited to HOT TUBS), presence of pests inside or outside the cabin, early departures, delayed arrivals or reducing the number of nights reserved with less than 30 days’ notice.  No refunds due to inclement weather but we will reschedule your visit at no charge.

NO-SHOW POLICY – The total amount of the balance of the reservation will be charged 14 days prior to arrival date. No Shows will not be refunded. 

RETURNED CHECKS – A $100 service charge will be incurred for any returned checks.

ADMIN FEE: All reservations will be charged a nonrefundable Admin Fee of $100.

CAMERAS- Most cabins have cameras OUTSIDE. No cameras monitor hot tubs UNLESS specifically noted in cabin description. These cameras are for security purposes and are monitored. Any people or pets that are not registered will be visible on camera. Unregistered guests or pets OR pets in cabins that are not pet friendly are in direct violation of this contract and will lead to immediate eviction and loss of all rents, fees, and taxes. Video and/or still pictures will exist.

PET FRIENDLY CABINS- Many of our cabins allow pets, please adhere to the pet policy when vacationing with yours. Pets are never allowed in cabins that are not pet friendly. The pet fee charge is $50 PER PET plus tax unless otherwise stated in cabin listing. Some cabins charge higher fees. Pets are to be housed in a crate inside of cabin when Guests are away from cabin. Guests are completely responsible and liable for any damage, caused by their pet(s), to the cabin and its premises during their stay. The above mentioned pet fee is not intended to cover damage or the cleanup of pet waste. EVERY CABIN IS CHECKED FOR DAMAGE AFTER EVERY DEPARTURE. If you have a pet and it is not listed on the reservation agreement, your immediate eviction and loss of all rents will result.  Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. If you are unable to keep them off of the bedding or furniture please bring your own bedding and furniture covers. All pet waste on cabin grounds must be picked up, bagged, and placed in trash prior to guest departure. Do not allow pets to urinate or defecate inside the cabin or on porches. Cleanup of pet waste will incur additional charges to the cardholder.

TAXES AND FEES – An end-of-stay cleaning fee is required for all rentals. Cleaning fees vary by cabin, so check the individual cabin listing for the exact cleaning fee amount. The end of stay cleaning fee, Pet fee (if applicable) and the Admin Fee of $100.00 are all taxable fees and are subject to 7% state tax and 6% county tax on all rentals. The taxes CANNOT be waived.

TERMINATIONS BY OWNER/SUBSTITUTIONS – My Mountain Cabin Rentals strives to comply with your reservation requests, however, due to circumstances beyond our control, changes in ownership, properties being removed from the rental program, mechanical problems, etc., we cannot absolutely guarantee a specific rental cabin. My Mountain Cabin Rentals reserves the right to change your cabin without notice or liability should the cabin become unavailable. Neither the owner nor My Mountain Cabin Rentals shall be liable for events beyond their control which may interfere with your visit. This may include but not limited to Acts of God, acts of Governmental agencies, fire, war, inclement weather, and construction noise. No rebate or refund will be offered in these circumstances. We will try to offer a comparable cabin at the same rate satisfactory to you or you can receive a complete refund of your reservation payment. My Mountain Cabin Rentals will attempt to give you as much notice as possible so other arrangements can be made.
CHECK-IN TIME is 3 PM.  Your confirmation will instruct you to check in at your cabin. No guest should arrive at a cabin before 3 p.m. without permission (and an additional fee of $100 plus tax) from My Mountain Cabin Rentals.  My Mountain Cabin Rentals will use all reasonable efforts to have the cabin ready for guest occupancy at check-in time, but My Mountain Cabin Rentals cannot guarantee the exact time of occupancy. ANY UNAUTHORIZED EARLY CHECKS INS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $150 FEE! 
CHECK-OUT TIME is 10 AM or before. Please be prompt as to allow us to have adequate time to prepare the cabin for the next guests. Housekeeping will arrive at your cabin promptly at 10 a.m. to begin preparing it for the next guest. Failure to depart on time will incur additional charges to the guests credit card.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES- In the unfortunate event that Guest(s) and any member of their reservation party cause damage to the cabin, furnishings, décor, linens, appliances, etc., or leave the premises in such a state of disarray that additional measures, such as extra cleaning, trash pickup, professional carpet cleaning, etc., must be performed, the guest will be notified regarding the matter via one or all of the following measures: phone call, text and email. Should we not be able to reach the guest or be contacted back within a reasonable amount of time to discuss the situation, we reserve the right to charge the card on file for damages, services and or replacement of items. This is a very infrequent occurrence, and we strive to keep an open line of communication with any guest regarding issues. Should this happen, we will be glad to provide pictures of damage and invoices of charges.
B: HOUSE PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED – Rental guests understand that My Mountain Cabin Rentals will accept responsible adults above the age of 21 years old only.  Guest(s) agree that no more than the number of persons listed on the reservation agreement shall occupy the premise overnight. House parties will not be tolerated. If the cabin is occupied by more than the number of persons stated, the result will be a loss of total rent, fees and/or additional charge to your credit card.  Guests shall not disturb or offend any neighbors, discharge firearms, hunt or otherwise disturb wildlife AT ANY MMCR PROPERTY, or use fireworks of any kind in accordance with State of Georgia and Fannin County laws. Please observe Quiet Times listed in each cabin. We reserve the right to ID any guest for proof of legal age.
SPEED LIMIT: Guest and all members of the reservation party agree to adhere to posted speed limits within the community. Please adhere to posted speed limits.
PRIVATE PROPERTY-You ONLY have access to the property that you have rented. Surrounding properties are private and could be a full time residence, so please, no trespassing. If you are interested in a property, please call the office at 800-844-4939 and inquire as to whether it is a rental or not.
CABIN DESCRIPTIONS AND RATES – Information regarding the individual rental cabin is believed to be accurate but cannot be guaranteed.  We have made every effort to ensure that all the information on the My Mountain Cabin Rental website www.1MyMountain.com is current and accurate.  The possibility of errors and omissions still exists.  We will be happy to confirm all the information or answer any of your questions prior to booking your reservation by calling us toll-free at 800-844-4939.  Rates, furnishings, fees, and taxes are subject to change without notice.  Rates for weekly stays are found on our website at www.1MyMountain.com.  Rates do not include end-of-stay cleaning fee, pet fees, admin fee or rental tax.  Most of our properties can be rented for a two-night minimum stay. Minimum night requirements: Two night minimum for non-holiday, Three night minimum for holiday weekends, Four & Five night minimum for peak summer and autumn leaf seasons as well as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Easter and Independence Day, unless otherwise stated on the website or verbally communicated by a representative of MMCR.

REPAIRS – SERVICE CALLS – My Mountain Cabin Rentals cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, Hot Tubs, TV’s, Satellite Receivers, DVD players, Wi-Fi modems or other appliances.  Please report any equipment that is not operating properly. My Mountain Cabin Rentals will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Should a repair person make a call to a cabin and find the equipment in working order and the problem was due to Guest(s) oversight or neglect, the charge for the service will be the Guest(s) responsibility.  All maintenance repairs must be reported to My Mountain Cabin Rentals between 9 AM and 5 PM.  Guest(s) understand and agree that My Mountain Cabin Rentals or its repair people might need access to the cabin for the purpose of making the repair. No refunds will be given for mechanical failure.

CABIN FURNISHINGS & EQUIPMENT – All cabins are privately owned with furnishings and equipment provided by the cabin owner. My Mountain Cabin Rentals cannot make any changes to this. Moving of furniture is prohibited. If you require special appliances or equipment, please bring them with you. Decor, style, color and themes will vary between rental cabins. Furnishings are subject to change without notice. All furnishings/furniture in the cabin are in place as the owners wish them and Guest(s) agrees to leave said items in the same condition and location that they found them upon arrival. Furnishings such as bunkbeds, swings, hammocks, rocking chairs, recliners, etc. are provided for guests to use at their own risk. MMCR and cabin owner are not liable for injuries sustained while using these furnishings. Refunds will not be given for furniture that the guest deems uncomfortable.

LOCK ACCESS TO CABINS: The cabin you reserved will either have a lock box with keys inside or it will have an electronic key pad. The confirmation and directions that you receive will instruct you to go straight to the cabin for contactless check in. You will receive a text from us (the number associated with our messaging system is 706-917-1434) 1 day prior to your arrival. There’s a link to click on that will take you into the Guidebook. You will find all the information that you need for check in there. Upon departure, it is the Guest’s responsibility to ensure that all doors are locked and if applicable, keys are returned to the lockbox and lockbox is properly closed and securely locked. Please note that some lockboxes require you to re-enter the code in order to engage the lock. Please keep the code for re-entry.
KEYED PROPERTIES-Our rental cabins are privately owned and Guests are responsible for lost keys. The property must be re-keyed in the event the keys are lost, misplaced or not returned. Guest will be held responsible for the cost of re-keying and keys. 

INTERNET USE POLICY – Downloading or distributing copyrighted material, including through peer-to-peer file sharing, without the permission of the copyright owner is against the law. Illegal downloading or distribution of copyrighted materials can result in you being prosecuted in criminal court and/or sued for damages in civil court. Criminal penalties for first-time offenders can be as high as five years in prison and $250,000 in fines. If sued in civil court, you may be responsible for monetary damages, attorneys’ fees and civil penalties up to $150,000 per work distributed. Use of any cabins wireless network for unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials is prohibited. By your use of the wireless network, you formally acknowledge that you have been informed of the rules regarding illegal file sharing and the consequences that can come from inappropriate use. If the owner of the cabins receives information about suspected illegal file sharing, the rental tenant contact information will be shared with the network service provider, TDS Telecom, for prosecution. 

CLEANING DELAYS & CLEANING FEES:  We will do everything we can do to make sure your cabin is ready for your stay. It is our mission to provide you the cleanest cabin in the mountains, so that you will become a guest for a lifetime. Due to our high standards for cleanliness, there is a chance that not all units will be ready for check-in promptly at 3 pm, especially during peak and holiday seasons. We ask for your patience and suggest that you have alternate plans for a couple of hours in case your unit isn’t ready. While we do our best to get you in your cabin by 3 pm, from time to time this is not always possible and we cannot offer any compensation for any delays in your check-in. We will do our best to get you in as quickly as possible and we appreciate your patience and understanding. Our cleaning fee rates will vary according to the size of the cabin.  It is of the upmost importance to us that upon arrival you find your cabin in top-notch shape from the furniture, floors, bathrooms, bedding, dishes and linens to the hot tub. 

C: HOT TUB – Hot tubs are drained, cleaned, refilled & water is balanced prior to your arrival.  There is a $50 convenience charge if you wish to have an additional cleaning of the Hot Tub during your stay. Instructions are provided at the cabin for proper operation and easy maintenance that must be performed during your stay in order to keep the hot tub water chemical balanced and sanitary. Please observe the rules posted for each hot tub & follow them. Use at your own risk. Do not use hot tub if you are or suspect you are pregnant. Children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision. No bubble bath, salts, or soaps of any kind allowed in the hot tub. Please do not sit on the hot tub cover or put your knees on the control panel. Guest(s) should shower before and after each hot tub use.  It is also highly recommended that swimsuits be washed with clean water after each use.  This is for personal hygiene and sanitation purposes. Following these instructions limits the likelihood of bacteria build-up between uses. Drinking containers i.e. glasses, bottles, cans; smoking, and pets are strictly prohibited. All hot tubs go through (2 to 4) automatic filtering/cleaning cycles that last up to (3) hours. Hot tub and Jets will not turn off during this cycle.

HOT TUB WAIVER
 The Guest will use the hot tub at his/her own risk. We (MMCR/Cabin Owner) will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained by the Guest, and/or other occupants or guests when using the hot tub.
The Guest is responsible for the full cost that may be due for repair and/or replacement of the hot tub that is required as a result of negligence by the Guest, or the Guests’ occupants or guests.
The Guest must operate the hot tub according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
No pets of any kind are permitted in the hot tub at any time.
No small children’s toys allowed in hot tubs, such as Army men, small Barbie Dolls, My Little Pet figurines, etc. These small items will easily be pulled into the hot tub pump as the water is filtering. This will damage the pump. Any small items found in hot tub pump will result in guest paying for repairs or replacements.
The Guest understands that the hot tub is strictly an amenity, and that the use of this amenity is not guaranteed under the Terms & Conditions. Any interruption or non-availability of the use of the hot tub will not violate any Terms & Conditions and will NOT result in any refund and/or compensation.

WATER PROPERTIES

  • Some properties have water access and may or may not have a dock or steps to water for Guest(s) use. Guest(s) understand that any water activity is at their OWN RISK and WILL NOT hold MY MOUNTAIN CABIN RENTALS and/or cabin OWNER responsible for any injury that may occur in the water, on the dock, on the steps or while otherwise accessing the water. The following rules and regulations govern the use of private docks: 
  • Swim at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty, so you are responsible for your own actions and consequences.
  • Monitor children and pets (in pet friendly cabins) at all times. There are no gates, fences, or other barriers to block the water. It is the Guest(s) responsibility to ensure the safety of everyone in their party, including pets.
  • Always wear a life jacket while in the water, especially if you are not a strong swimmer or have a medical condition. MMCR DOES NOT PROVIDE LIFE JACKETS. THIS IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GUEST(S).
  • Children must always wear life jackets while on the docks or stairs that access water.
  • Stay away from moving watercraft and boats. Operators may not see you in time to stop.
  • Some docks do not have ladders and are designed for fishing. Guest(s) access water at their OWN RISK.
  • Do not place any part of your body under platforms or docks.
  • No smoking or open flames on docks or platforms.
  • No fireworks of any kind are allowed on the property or docks/platforms.
  • No loud music, shouting or unnecessary noise that would be disruptive to neighbors
  • Observe quiet time from 11 PM to 8 AM.
  • Fishing is allowed, however, it is the Guest(s) responsibility to follow DNR laws and rules such as licensing.
  • NO LITTERING! Do not throw anything into the water or leave trash on the dock/platform or banks. Littering will incur additional charges.
  • Guest(s) have access ONLY to docks/steps at the cabin they have rented. Neighboring properties are private and should not be entered. 

OWNER’S CLOSET – Rental cabins may have a locked private Owner’s Closet that is not part of the guest’s rental and guests agree not to disturb, unlock or tamper with Owner’s closet. Some OWNER CLOSETS have security cameras INSIDE the locked closet and are activated only when someone opens the door.

SATELLITE TELEVISION/STREAMING TELEVISIONS – All cabins are privately owned and have different options for televisions. Cabins with satellite TVs have subscriptions chosen by the cabin owner. My Mountain Cabin Rentals has no control over satellite packages. Cabins with Smart TVs have the popular apps available, however, to use the apps, you must have your own accounts to sign in to. For example: To view Netflix on the tv, you would need to have your own login info in order to watch that app. MMCR will not be held liable for any charges to apps that occur because a guest forgot to log out of their app on the TV.  My Mountain Cabin Rentals does not guarantee any programs or events. Some cabins have streaming only TVs. Please check the cabin listing/description to verify this information. MMCR CANNOT provide satellite services to guests who’s cabin is streaming only.

TELEPHONE CALLS – Some cabins are equipped with a telephone. All local calls are free. All long distance calls are to be placed by credit card, collect or calling card. 

FIREPLACES – All My Mountain Cabin Rental cabins have wood burning or gas log fireplaces. WOOD BURNING fireplaces are seasonal and firewood is not provided for fireplaces or fire pits but local gas stations, road side vendors and grocery stores sell small bundles of wood.  Please note, if you use an outdoor fire pit, you are responsible if any “wild fires” start and could be subject to fines or response charges by the Department of Forestry. Please pay attention to warnings of fire bans in the event that North Georgia is under restrictions due to drought/windy conditions. If you are not proficient at starting fires, refer to FIREWOOD in our FAQ’s. No fire will be left unattended and no other item (charcoal, accelerant’s, etc.) will be burned in wood log fireplaces. Guests agree to pay a clean out fee of $50 if any items other than wood logs are burned in fireplace. Do not use excessive amounts of wood in fireplaces. This can result in a chimney fire and could result in total or partial loss of the cabin and your personal belongings. Please only use 3 or 4 pieces of acceptable wood (no Pine) in the fireplace.
GAS LOG fireplaces – no other items (hot dogs, marshmallows, wood, etc.) besides gas logs will be burned in gas log fireplaces. Guests will not disturb, adjust, move, cook-over or otherwise damage gas logs in fireplace box. Moving or adjusting logs will prevent gas logs from functioning correctly. Some gas log fireplaces are controlled by a remote on the wall. The options listed on the remote are 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 120 minutes and off. Please use the remote and do not change any settings on the controls in the gas log fireplace. If you need help, please call the office.
GAS LOG FIREPLACE USAGE-Gas to inside gas log fireplaces is turned off from May 1st-September 30 each year.

BARBECUE GRILLS – Charcoal is not provided for rental cabins with charcoal grills. Propane is provided for gas grills. Each rental cabin has a grill, please refer to the cabin description of the cabin you are interested in. DO NOT attempt to burn charcoal in a gas grill. This could result in an explosion.

SMOKING – All cabins are NON-SMOKING and this policy is strictly enforced. Smoking is allowed outside on most of the porches and decks.  Please do not dispose of the cigarette butts in the yard or surrounding grounds. .

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE – By Georgia Law, no drinking of alcoholic beverages by persons under the legal age of 21 is allowed. NO HOUSE PARTIES ALLOWED. Violation will be cause for immediate eviction with loss of all rent monies paid.

LINENS – All cabins are supplied with bed linens, towels, blankets and pillows.  These items are not changed during your stay. Any damages to linens, blankets pillows and towels due to misuse will result in replacement charges to Guest’s credit card. Towels are not to be used for pets, washing cars, etc. Linens and blankets are not to be used for pets. If you need these items for your pets, you must bring them with you.

SUPPLIES PROVIDED: My Mountain Cabin Rentals provides your initial supply (1 to 2 days) of paper products, soaps, detergents and trash bags etc. for your convenience. Any supplies required thereafter is guest responsibility. Each cabin has pots and pans, dinnerware, tableware, glasses and cups, cooking utensils, small appliances, etc. The supplies in the cabin are placed there at the owner’s discretion and may or may not include iron, ironing board, hair dryer.

TRASH AND/OR LITTER – All trash must be bagged in normal trash bags (not shopping bags) and placed in trash cans or trash bin provided on property. Do not dispose of cigarette butts, cans, bottles, etc. on cabin grounds. Do not leave trash around the hot tub. Trash pickup day is posted in the white binder in the cabin, please make sure all trash is bagged and placed in outside bins to be picked up prior to 10 AM. On trash pickup day, please ensure that access is available for the garbage truck. Blocked driveways or access to cans will mean no trash pickup.

MOUNTAIN ANIMALS, INSECTS, REPTILES: Deer, Coyote, Bear, Turkey, Possum, Raccoons, Ladybugs, Carpenter Bees, Wasps, Scorpions, Ticks, Spiders, Ants, Snakes, Mice, Chiggers, etc. may be encountered in the mountains. There is no refund for the presence of or any inconvenience caused by these and other pests/animals.  

CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES – We ask that you please comply with the following items prior to check-out:  Property should be left in the same condition it was when you arrived. All litter, cigarette butts and pet waste should be picked up from the yard and placed into a trash bag. All trash put in the outside garbage cans. Please lock all windows and doors, set A/C to 80 or heat to 60 degrees depending on the season. We ask that you please load and start the dishwasher. Any dishes that won’t fit should be hand washed, dried and put away. All towels should be placed in the bathtub/shower and beds that have been used should be left unmade.

LOST & FOUND – Any personal items left in the rental cabin can be mailed to you at your request for a fee of $20.00 plus postage (and additional insurance if requested). We will charge your credit card and an invoice can be emailed to you at your request. Any items not claimed within 7 days of departure will be disposed of.
